Data Manipulation using tidyverse

Data Manipulation using tidyverse

Abstract

In Part 1, I show how to import a dataset, check its structure, rearrange the data, change column names, change the format from wide to long, access particular rows and columns, calculate summary tables (with median, mean, sd, sem etc.), split a dataset into multiple data frames, create new subfolders in the working directory and write new .csv files. Also, I included a few small self-coded functions and an if-loop. In Part 2, I show how to fit a linear model, extract the slope and the intercept and use them later within a formula/function. In Part 3, I introduce for-loops and show how a for-loop can be used to save time while analyzing big datasets.
